Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. BuzzLine News uses very few cookies. Here is the complete list and what each one does.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID |
Session identifier — used only when you log into the admin area. Not set for ordinary readers. | Session (deleted on browser close) | Strictly necessary |
That's it
BuzzLine News does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social-network cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar third-party tracking. We do not participate in cross-site retargeting networks.
Third-party cookies
The Site does not embed third-party scripts that set cookies. If a future sponsor placement embeds third-party tracking, we will update this policy and label that placement accordingly so you can make an informed choice.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time using your browser's settings. Because we use only one strictly-necessary session cookie (and only in the admin area), blocking cookies will not affect your ability to read articles. It will, however, prevent admins from logging in.
Helpful guides:
Do Not Track
BuzzLine News honors the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal. Because we don't track readers in the first place, this is a formality — but if your browser sends DNT, we will not deviate from our default no-tracking behavior under any circumstances.
Changes
If we add new cookies or change how existing ones work, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
